Cisco 2960-CG series temperature SNMP

Hello, I have an 8 port 2960-CG switch.

I notice that when I load it up in my SNMP monitoring tool (PRTG) that the temperature readouts are in 3 bands i.e. 'nomal', 'warning' and 'critical'.

With all my other Cisco switches I get actual degree values.

Is this a limitation with the 2960-CG series ?

Hi,

If I were to guess, I would say, that is correct as the 2960-C series is a small, fanless switch and there may not be an SNMP MIB to read the exact temperature.
