The above is the port status of a problem port , we've connect and Access point to this port . It shows 25650input errors and 8559 CRC error, is it a cabling problem or the port is faulty , what does it means?

Hi Raymond,
Normally this points to layer 1 issues please check the following:
1. Check the speed/duplex both the ends
2. Check the cable / fiber / trasnceiver
3. Check by changing the speed and duplexto half or Auto
4. Chek if the grounding is proper
5. Check patch panel (if there is one)
Also this is a link for a cable test check it out:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-18983
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Check with cable and if possible run tdr on that port.
CRC is definitely a physical layer issue.
Whats the distance b/w these two endpoints.
Regards,
Guru
