Cisco 2960-S CPU Utilization

I have a stack of Cisco 2960-S switches running 12.2.53SE2.  If I telnet into the stack the CPU utilization drops from an 80% average to a 40% average and remains that way until I log out.  Once I logout the CPU jumps back up to 80%.  Has anyone else experienced these symptoms?

Thank you,
