Cisco 2960L-24TS-LL switches issue

Hi Team,

We are getting 169 series ip from last few months, we a have tried all ways to clear authentication cache etc. how ever issue still not resolved, please suggest.

we are having cisco 2960 L series switches few switches are working normal and with out no issue.

Few switches are distributing 169***** series ips instead of 172 series.

if this is only then i would go physically check what device is connected to this port - and fix the IP information (this may cause malfunction of Interface cards sometimes I have observed)

0068.ebc4.ce89  - Look for me HP device as per first 0068:EB

firest this 169.x.x.x IP is assign to PC that can not get it IP from DHCP. 
there is issue in your DHCP server or DHCP local pool

We have reconfigured the DHCP configuration of the branch post DHCP configuration also not taking DHCP ip while we are assigning static ip pc is running smoothly.

Yes, workaround is manually config the IP

there is no issue with DHCP but i cant understand why it is taking 169 series IP

Maybe we need to see more configurations here to suggest best.
