Cisco 2x6509-E VSS with Aggregation 3560 switches

Hi,

Can anyone advice, whether VSS technology support on 3560 switches.

I'm planning to intergrate new Cisco 2x6509 with VSS and all the access swtiches 3560's uplink to core 6509

if not support, whar will be the solution or any bug fixing or new IOS relasing

Hi,

3560 switches do not support VSS, but in your scenario you don't need VSS on the 3560s, all you need is to run VSS on your 6500 and than uplink your 3560s to both 6500 switches using Etherchannel.
