I have had a 2 stack Cisco 3850 in production for the last 3 years with no problems. Today something very strange happened. I received a call that the switch lost all connectivity. I logged into the switch via serial cable and discovered that there was absolutely no configuration. The logs were gone everything as if it had a factory reset.
How is this possible for a device like this. The startup and running configs are saved always as a matter of protocol but it was all gone.
Any ideas?
