Cisco 3850 start-up config (Stack)

Hello.

I am planning to create a stack, between an existing and new 3850. I would like to know, if I have to configure the new switch with (e.g. SSH, SNMP, switchport access, etc), or does SSO makes it possible for the new switch to use the existing running-config?

Once you add the new switch to the stack, and the stack is operational, the master (assuming you want to keep the existing switch as master) will sync its config to the new switch. The new switch will be a member switch and after that you only login to the master to make any changes.

The new switch will synchronize the configuration with the switch master.

Hi, Leo.

Will that take place via SSO or the software auto-upgrade enable command?

Got it. Thanks!
