Hello,
I have a Cisco 3925 router and would like to configure 2 x dot1q trunks connecting to two seperate 6500 Core switches but using the same layer2 vlan (110) on both trunks ?
The layer 3 vlans for vlan 110 are configured on the cores usin HSRP.
6509 Core 1
interface Vlan110
description Infrastructure
ip address 10.171.110.2 255.255.255.0
no ip redirects
no ip unreachables
no ip proxy-arp
no mop enabled
standby 1 ip 10.171.110.1
standby 1 preempt
end
6909 Core 2
interface Vlan110
description Infrastructure
ip address 10.171.110.3 255.255.255.0
no ip redirects
no ip unreachables
no ip proxy-arp
no mop enabled
standby 1 ip 10.171.110.1
standby 1 preempt
end
Is this possible ?

It should be fine if everything is connecting L2 from the 3925 to the 6500s, to avoid issues with spanning tree i would have a routed link between the 6500s though.
