Hi Sanjay,

Thanks.

I think I found what was the problem, the boot system command is incorrect:

boot system flash s72033-ipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SXJ2.bin,

it suppose to be boot system flash disk0:s72033-ipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SXJ2.bin.

Will change it and reload.

What does a "show bootvar" say? You may have configured it for the correct IOS image, but preceding configured boot statements take precedence. You may have to remove any previous boot statements from your current config.

Have you checked for the presence of the image in the flash to make sure it is actually there? If it is not there, it will boot from the first IOS image the supervisor finds.

Have you verified that your config-register is set for 0x2102? This should be see at the end of the "show version" output.

The latest IOS image does not go by chassis, but rather by supervisors. To see the latest IOS image for your supervisor, you will have to search for downloads on cisco.com under your supervisor model. Keep in mind that there are several Sup720 models.

show bootvar:

BOOT variable = s72033-ipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SXJ2.bin,1

CONFIG_FILE variable does not exist

BOOTLDR variable does not exist

Configuration register is 0x2102

Standby is not present.

Standby not ready to show bootvar

The image is presence on disk0.

config-register is set to 0x2102

You would need to set your boot statement as follows:

boot system disk0:s72033-ipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SXJ2.bin
