Hello!

I have a similar theme, but I did not get an answer and here I painted everything in detail.

We have:

Cisco 7609-S - c7600rsp72043-advipservicesk9-mz.151-2.S.bin

Mod Ports Card Type                              Model              Serial No.

--- ----- -------------------------------------- ------------------ -----------

  2   48  CEF720 48 port 1000mb SFP              WS-X6748-SFP

  3   48  CEF720 48 port 1000mb SFP              WS-X6748-SFP

  4    8  CEF720 8 port 10GE with DFC            WS-X6708-10GE

  5    2  Route Switch Processor 720 (Hot)       RSP720-3C-GE

  6    2  Route Switch Processor 720 (Active)    RSP720-3C-GE

  7   48  CEF720 48 port 1000mb SFP              WS-X6748-SFP

  8   48  CEF720 48 port 1000mb SFP              WS-X6748-SFP

  9   48  CEF720 48 port 1000mb SFP              WS-X6748-SFP

Before that, worked without problems and uptime was 5 years. Arbitrary reboots began:

  1. 1_crashinfo_20180728-000112-EEDT
  2. 2_crashinfo_20180728-121918-EEDT

After that, it was decided to replace the supervisor from RSP720-3C-GE to SUP720-3BXL with image (c7600s72033-advipservicesk9-mz.151-2.S.bin)

The problem remained, and it was clear that this was due to “process = mls-igmp” :

  1. 3_crashinfo_RP_20180730-130034-EEDT
  2. 4_crashinfo_RP_20180731-212428-EEDT

After that, it was decided to update the image and returned to the place RSP720-3C-GE with new image (c7600rsp72043-adventerprisek9-mz.155-3.S4). We worked a couple of weeks without problems and rebooted again:

  1. 5_crashinfo_20180826-213123-EEDT

After that, the firmware was updated once again  to c7600rsp72043-adventerprisek9-mz.155-3.S6 and replaced the chassis, a few days later the problem was repeated:

  1. 6_ crashinfo_20180829-182950-EEDT

Replacing the chassis, supervisors and some cards, I think we excluded the hardware problem, it remains that this is a software problem with which I do not know how to cope, there is no opportunity to contact the cisco TAC support. Any ideas?
