Good Morning,
I have what should be a question with a simple answer but I'm not having much luck. I recently acquired a 'Cisco 819 Router' (According to the back of the device) and am tasked with putting a SIM card into it so that it can receive 3G data and distribute it to nearby computers.
My problem is that I cannot find the SIM card slot.
Easy google question right? I even found this great graphic showing me exactly where to find the slot!
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/558077/Cisco-819.html?page=50#manual
However, my model does not have that slot. I removed the entire cover, and there is no inner panel to remove to then put SIM cards into. I even removed the inner panel down to the board, and the board does not appear to have any SIM slots in it either.
Does anyone know why this 819 Router is different than the one shown in the graphic? Is mine not technically a 'Cisco 819 ISR Router'?
Thank you for any help you can provide!

Hello,
you don't have SIM card slots in your router. There are different models which do have SIM card slots, check Table 3 in the attached document:

Hello,
annoying indeed. Possibly you don't have an 819ISR, but a different model. The SIM card slots are impossible to miss. Can you post a picture of the back and the downside of the router you have ? Where did you purchase the device ?

Hi George,
Thank you for responding! I would think so as well, but it really helps to have a second set of eyes to make sure I'm not insane. Here are those pictures, plus some of the internals. This was purchased on ebay.

That's the answer! A slightly different model and no SIM card slots at all. Thank you so much for helping me figure this out.
