Cisco 867VAE-K9 NBN FTTN not working

Hi all,

We signed up for a NBN FTTN 100Mbps plan with iiNet with no contract.

Purchased a Cisco 867VAE-K9 outright from another supplier.

I've been trying to configure the router to work with NBN, but it doesn't seem to like it.

I used the sample Cisco NBN FTTN config from iiNet website. But, it still doesn't seem to work.

The WAN mode is set to DSL.

The VDSL interface goes UP, and 10 seconds later it goes down again.

When I use terminal monitor, I get this error:

*Nov 10 03:10:53.423: %CONTROLLER-5-UPDOWN: Controller VDSL 0, changed state to down
*Nov 10 03:10:54.423: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Ethernet0, changed state to down
*Nov 10 03:10:55.483: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Ethernet0, changed state to down

Can someone share me a working NBN FTTN config on a Cisco 867VAE-K9 router please? :)

Here is my config:

Hello,

there used to be a problem with certain IOS versions and NBN. Which version are you running ? Can you post the output of:

show version

show controller vdsl 0

Also, does it make a difference if you set the operating mode to 'auto' ?
