I have one redunant interface configured on my ASA with two redundant pyhsical interfaces. See below.
interface Redundant2
member-interface GigabitEthernet0/4
member-interface GigabitEthernet0/5
interface Redundant2.12
vlan 12
nameif test1
security-level 100
ip address 192.168.10.1 255.255.252.0
!
interface Redundant2.16
vlan 16
nameif test2
security-level 100
ip address 192.168.11.1 255.255.255.0
!
interface RRedundant2.17
vlan 17
nameif test3
security-level 50
ip address 192.168.12.1 255.255.255.224
!
I need to basically use either GigabitEthernet0/5 or GigabitEthernet0/6 as like a switch port to Interface Reduntant2.....So you can plug another switch into this new port and use the same vlans\gateways as configured on Redundant2. Does this make sense.
For example they have a similar config on Sonicwalls for what I need called portshield interfaces.
