Cisco C9200L and Zebra DZ421 Printer

Hi Gents,

I have brand new Cisco C9200L-24P-4X-E and Zebra ZD421 Printer. 

When I try to connect printer on specific port (or any other else btw.). With static IP or DHCP, obtain no IP, no MAC address.

Checked with:

sh Mac address-table interface 1/0/15

Port speed AUTO, switchport mode access.. 

Any idea?!

Are ports 14 and/or 16 currently active or not?

Currently active is 13 and 15

Gi1/0/13 is my computer in VLAN ID 7

Gi1/0/15 is Zebra Printer in same VLAN

Find three consecutive ports that have have no activity.  

Move the Zebra into the middle port.

Just made, see below. Gi1/0/23 is Zebra.

Can you do this:  

1.  Command:  test cable tdr interface Gi1/0/23
2.  Wait for about 7 to 10 seconds
3.  Command: show cable tdr interface Gi1/0/23
4.  Post the complete output to #3

No prob, I checked more cables at once... Same results

Made for many times... changed STP.. everything..

I can connect on same port Epson printer... Works fine... Zebra not working ZD421 and also GK420T.. when I try to connect over console and plug in/out, see interaction... cable in good condition, everything...

Check if this printer use PoE or not?

If yes disable PoE in port of SW 

And use power cable to power it.

Just made, nothing... Zebra ZD421 has no PoE...

Upgrade the firmware to 17.9.3 and try again.
