Cisco C9600 Blocking Dante Multicast Traffic

We are deploying Dante devices on the network using C9600 core switch and C9300 as the edge switches.

All Dante devices are in the same VLAN subnet.

Using a Dante Controller to discover the devices using multicast, we can only see devices on same switch where the Dante Controller PC is connected.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKB5PBLHLlI

But we cannot see the Dante devices on the other switch. We can reach the all the devices IP addresses using ping.

But if we bypass the core switch C9600 (direct connect C9300 to C9300) we can see the all the devices.

I am not sure what the C9600 is doing with the multicast traffic.

   >...If your Dante audio device is using multicast service, you’ll need to have IGMP snooping enabled on the switch
   >...
   >...Any end node that wants to receive any of the multicast packets must issue an IGMP report to add itself to the multicast group of interest before it can receive those packets. Since Dante devices already issue the IGMP report, it should work as is.

Make sure that concerning the above items there are no conflicts withhttps://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvt93182

Check the multicast settings from https://service.shure.com/s/article/configuring-sg350-switch-for-shure-devices-and-dante?language=en_US
Now that is another Cisco device-model  indeed ,but look for multicast with Find in the browser , check the  settings used
and or see if that there is anything relevant for the 9600 .

Thank you Marce for the helpful links.

Actually, i open a ticket to Audinate and share the config of the switches with them. They are seeing that the Core switch has the CoPP or Control Plane Policing enabled. Is there a way to disable that?

Thank you.

Can make your multicast source increases it ttl to be more than 1, ot seem that multicast is punt to cpu and drop where it must forward directly without punt to cpu, I found bug about multicast with ttl1 and cpu drop so try increase ttl and check again
