Cisco Catalyst 1000 Password issue

I can connect with the switch by using console port. however it is asking the password. 

can someone please advise how to overcome this? 

how to do clear setting for the catalyst 1000 (C100-24T-4G-L)

If the device new you need to quick setup guide :

If your device supports Bluetooth, it loads with the initial setup tasks preconfigured. Connect your PC to the device using Bluetooth. In your Web browser, enter the IP address 172.16.0.1. Enter the following default credentials: username: cisco, password: cisco and press Enter.

Not sure why it keeps asking about password. I have used Cisco but it doesn’t help

Do factory reset if there is no config :

I use the console cable. But still be asked the password. Is there another way to do the factory reset and make the password disappeared?
