Hi All,
Did anyone use this feature? I'm confused that if the hstack will exchange the business traffic between stack members. If not every device should have at least one uplink locally. But from the document it said the stack will use the active switch mac address as system mac address. How does the upstream device identify the devices if the mac addresses are all the same? Because if all the stack members connect to a same upstream device they need to use stp to determine which port should be blocked.
Thank you!

For example, I have two swithces (A & B) out of the box that are connected using ports like this 1/0/2 <--> 1/0/2 and 1/0/4 <--> 1/0/4.
So if I want to configure the single IP management address, I would first need to do the following:
Switch A
switch 1 hstack-port 1 TenGigabitEthernet 1/0/2
Switch B
switch 1 hstack-port 1 TenGigabitEthernet 1/0/2
And then repeat the process for ports 1/0/4.
Is this correct? The switch number (1) would be the same for both switches?
