Gentlemen,

I have a core switch (WS-C4507R) with these specifications:

1-IOS: Version 12.1(12c)EW1, EARLY DEPLOYMENT RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

2-Modules Details

And looking to install Netflow services add-on module, so is this module is suitable "WS-F4531(=)" and comply with these specifications?if yes how much it will be ?

Hi Friend,

First of all the IOS you are running doesnot support WS-F4531, the netflow services card.Cisco recommeded IOS version for this module is 12.2(25)EWA6.

So you have to upgrade your IOS on the switch. Another point here is that you need an application as well for the netflow statistics to be collected. Please look for that as well.

Hi Amit,

Based on the Data Sheet for the SUP-IV it is required to be 12.1(13)EW

From the DATA SHEET: Supervisor IV with NetFlow Services Card: Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1(13)EW or later.

On the other hand, you mentioned about the software to do a statistics so can you recommend on this software name in order to quote it.
