Cisco CBS 250 Switch - no 'SPAN' section under 'Status and Statistics'

Hello,

Just got a new CBS 250 switch. I was wanting to configure a port mirror, and according to the 'Cisco Business 250 Series Switches Administration Guide' PDF on Page 38, you click 'Status and Statistics > SPAN > SPAN Session Sources' to get started with this. However, 'SPAN' does not exist there! In fact, I can't find 'SPAN' anywhere in the navigational bar on the left.

Exact model of switch: CBS250-48T-4G

Firmware version: 3.0.0.69

The closest thing to 'SPAN' is 'Spanning Tree' under the root of the navigational bar. And there are 3 sub links under 'Spanning Tree': 1. STP Status & Global Settings; 2. STP Interface Settings; 3. RSTP Interface Settings. But none of these seem right.

Thank you,

A super new Cisco user

Well I feel silly! But for anyone else who may have this 'problem', it's not a problem really! The Web GUI was set to 'Basic' (in the top right corner of the page). I changed it to 'Advanced', and voila! I now have the SPAN option!

Hope this helps someone else out there in the future!

 - Seems like the feature is only available starting from the CBS350 series I could verify this by using : https://community.cisco.com/t5/small-business-online-device-emulators/bd-p/911-discussions-online-device-emulators
