Cisco N7K logon to SUP2-CONSOLE

Hello,

we have changed the second SUP2-module in an N7K-Switch with ha-standby through RMA. The new modul has newer software version (7.x) than the old one (6.x). Unfortunately there is no possibility to get access to the new modul through CONSOLE. When the module boots up i can login with user and password but afterwords there is no possibility to configure the modul, only logout with "STR+$" is possible.

Does anybody know how to get access to the SUP2-modul through CONSOLE?

you need to have both in same version, one can not be different versions. here is the proceedure for replacement.

You need to copy the images from Active supervisor to new modules ( in your case downgrade.)
