Cisco SG300-10 Console & IP Addressing Issues

I am going bonkers.  This switch is endangering my position.  I have given it over 40 hours.

When I am logged in using CLI or the Web-admin, and I try to set an IP address the connection drops, and will not return until I have restarted the router.  This means I can't give them IP addresses in this manner.  There is no DHCP present.

So I purchased a USB Serial Adapter.  It left me a male DB9, so then I purchased a regular male-male DB9 serial cable.  Using Teraterm I see until com ports the USB adapter.  I select it, try to connect with every sort of setting imaginable, including the ones recommended on this site and in the manuals - and it sits there blinking.  Nothing more.

I have worked with numerous switches and network equipment, and nothing in the past ever gave me any grief.

Any ideas?

vous devez d'abord attribuer une adresse IP statique au commutateur, qui sera utilisée pour Vlan 1 (le Vlan par défaut). Une fois que le commutateur a une adresse IP statique, vous pouvez attribuer des adresses IP aux autres interfaces Vlan...

Le commutateur dispose déjà de l'adresse IP par défaut (192.168.1.254)

Si j'essaye de changer en tapant la commande ip address ... ... le commutateur plante comme pour les autres VLAN

Switch01 # conf 
Switch01 (config) #interface vlan 1 
Switch01 (config-if) # ip address 10.10.1.1 255.255.255.0

Ne changez pas l'adresse IP du Vlan 1, mais laissez cette adresse. Puis, essayez de assigner une adresse IP au Vlan 10...

C’est justement mon problème, je ne peux pas assigner d’adresse ip...

Bonjour, après quelques mois je suis revenu sur mon problème et j'ai fini par trouver la solution !

- D'abord j'ai acheter un câble, Null Modem vers USB pour me connecter depuis le PC en série sur le switch.

- Le reste je l'ai trouvé ici.

Voilà, si ça peut en aider d'autres.
