Cisco stack switch renumbering steps (9300)

Hello,

We have to change stack switch number. Could you someone provide proper steps .

**Current conf **
sh run | in provi
switch 2 provision c9300-48p
switch 3 provision c9300-48p
switch 4 provision c9300-48p


Switch#   Role    Mac Address     Priority Version  State
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*2       Active   XX.XX.XX.XX     10     V02     Ready
3       Standby  XX.XX.XX.XX    9      V02     Ready
4       Member  XX.XX.XX.XX     8      V02     Ready

Require to change switch number as below

sw 2 renumber 1
sw 3 renumber 2
sw 4 renumber 3


Note Here there is no provisioning command for switch 1. If we apply above command and reload, Will everything working well? or any other steps to follow .

Be very cautious as re-numbering your switches will also change interface numbers within running config.  Make sure you've got a copy of the config backed up before starting.  See info below.
