Cisco switch 2960 no leds on

I have strange situation with my old switch (2690) that powers on and i can hear the fan running but the all the leds are not lightning? 

Do you know what is happening with the switch?

do you try to configure one port to see what happen?

Do you check:

#sh environnement all

#sh int status

Do you have any messages on log #sh logging ?

It's not possible to access it via console, noting appears on the terminal interface.

Looks like the Switch is dead if you do not see any SYSTEM LED

on other hand if you have console cable, connect to switch and power off and power on the switch - you should see some message on the console in 10-20 seconds time, if not then my first statement valid.

i reboot it. now all leds are solid green but still not accessible via console.

Make sure Console working and tested and using below testings :

Configure the PC terminal emulation software for 9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, and no flow control.

or try connecting using SSH if the switch able to ping ?

Console is the key here to see what is wrong on the device ? (if that is not accessble - very difficult to say what is the issue)
