Cisco switch and IPS McAfee SFP compatibility

Hi Experts,

I would like to know Cisco 6513 and IPS McAfee SFP compatibility.

Find connection below

Cisco switch 6513 (sfp PID: FTRJ8519P1BNL-C5) --> IPS McAfee (sfp ITV-2KSG-NA-100) --> Cisco switch 6513 (sfp PID: FTRJ8519P1BNL-C5).

Will there be any compatibility issues with the sfp modules of cisco switch to IPS device?.

IPS sfp info details link.

Thanks...

May not work.  You may need Cisco-branded SFP.

Hi leolaohoo

Did you have any experienced implementing this in live environment?

This is Layer 1 and no idea since first time to install the devices and connecting to IPS using SFP 1000BaseSX module.

Thanks

All I know is that Cisco appliance requires Cisco-branded (not Linksys-branded) SFP or the port will go into error-disable.  There's a command to override, hence my first response to your post is "MAY not work", but I'm not going to discuss that here.
