I have a C3750 series switch connected to a foundry switch via Fiber and i want to setup another connection between the C3750 and a netgear switch to act as backup to the link between the cisco switch and the foundry. i want the backup link to come up automatically when the primary link goes down. how do i configure the cisco C3750 for this?

if the other switch supports VRRP-Variable Route Routing Protocol, then ur problem is solved. in this case, your edge switch has to connect one to main switch & the other to standby switch,
hope this helps.
