Cisco switch speed

I have the following output when I did "show int gig 1/0/1"

Full Duplex, 100 Mbps, 10/100/1000 Tx ports

the switch is 3750X, So my question is that even the ports support up to 1G so here 100 Mbps shows that the attached cable is cat5 right?

Yes, it can support 1G but currently, it is working on 100Mbps. This can be due to the cable or remote device not supporting 1G etc.

depends on end user capabilities and handahsre with port the device connected?

do you think end device can support 1G, how far is the end device ? do you have any inherited config for port speed set to 100MB ?

actually, the connected device is NVR, but my concern is if the cat5 cable
is attached whose max support is 100mbps so the high chance we have to
shift to cat6 right?

Yes, Check the cable, patch panel, and connectors and also the configuration of remote end device
