I´ve migrated a Cisco WLC connection from a 6509 to a Nexus FEX 2248. The connection is a 2x1 GBE copper Channel. After Migration the WLC still works fine, however I see sometimes LLDP messages on the Nexus as follows:
%LLDP-FEX103-3-DETECT _MULTIPLE_PEERS: Multiple peers detected on...
%LLDP-FEX103-5-SERVER_ADDED: Server with Chassis ID ...
on the WLC FEX Ports.
I need to investigate on the Server Chassis ID, however I think this is a normal behavior and may be caused my multiple WLAN clients with LLDP enabled
connect to the WLC. So my suggested action would be to disable LLDP on the WLC FEX Ports to get rid of those messages filling the logfile.
Any comments or suggestions are welcome !
