Cisco WS-C2960XR

Hi Guys, 

I want to upgrade Cisco WS-C2960XR-24TS from 15.2(7)E1 to E9. I need some assistance for you guys after upgradation :-

do we need reconfigure license or not . I believe it will not effect existing license /reconfiguration , like Right-to-use (RTU) with permanent license. Right?

Secondly , I have seen Cisco Docs with cisco Smart features . Is it necessary to use it as we have only two switches with same type. In which scanrio we need to configure license with  C2960XR-DNA-E-24.

Hi,

Upgrading the IOS will not affect the licensing. As for your second question, if you don't need any feature set that requires DNA, than you don't need to make any changes.
