Hello Cisco Community!
We got the problem with Cisco WS-C3850-48P member switch #4 in stack need to be replaced (it is faulty)
To replace the member switch I'll do the steps below:
software auto-upgrade enable
* It is not enabled yet in existing configuration
switch stack-member-number provision type
Example: switch 4 provision ws-c3850-48p
switch stack-member-number priority number
Example: switch 4 priority 5
There is we facing the problem
I can't find priority no such option only provision for ws-c3850-48p
CSW01(config)#switch 4 prio?
% Unrecognized command
CSW01(config)#switch 4 p?
provision
Could you please help me to find how to change the switch member priority on ws-c3850-48p to avoid a whole stack will be down in case if after reboot the new member switch #4 will be elected as Master (as Merief's law
Thank you!!
Sincerely,
Andrey P.

Thank you Community!
I found solution
It should be done under exec mode:
CSW01#switch 4 ?
priority Set the priority of the specified switch
renumber Renumber the specified switch number
role Set the new switch mode of the Switch
stack Stack port enable or disable
But I have one more question
What if the new member switch has a higher IOS version than stack?
Will do the command software auto-upgrade enable downgrade the higher IOS version of the new member switch to the the oldest IOS version that stack already has?
Thank you!

Correct. downgrade the new switch to have the same IOS version you have on the stack master.
Also, make sure the new switch has the same license type as the master.

Thank you Reza!
For the license:
I know that there should be issued a command on a new switch before it will be added to existing stack:
CSW01# license right-to-use activate ipbasek9 all acceptEULA
Could you please confirm?
As well I can't find the IOS .bin file in the flash: on C3850
Could you help me to locate .bin file?

CSW01# license right-to-use activate ipbasek9 all acceptEULA
Correct, you want to add the license before adding the switch to the stack.
As for the IOS, you would have to download that from Cisco's site and then load it into the flash.
