Hi
I'm setting up a policy map on a Cisco 3850 switch. But having trouble matching an interface.
On the 3750 model you could match traffic on an input interface:
Class-map match-all Example
match input-interface G1/0/10 - G1/0/11
I wish to setup similar on a 3850, only Cisco appear to have remove this feature as the input-interface command is not available.
Does anyone know the syntax or a way to match an interface using class-map for use with a policy map and policing traffic ?
Thanks

Hello,
I think the closest you can get is 'match vlan', assuming that all ports are part of the same Vlan.

Thanks Georg,
The interfaces in question are trunks; so I would need to match against several vlans.
Is there any reason why cisco removed this command ? There does not seem any rationale behind it, it was a useful command to have.....
Thanks
Paul
