Hi Guys,
I just got my hands on the new 2960S's and I fired up the latest version of Cisco Network Assistant, and it turns out that the switch is not compatible with the CNA.
This doc:
https://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps6406/qa_c67-577519.pdf
Indicates that it sure is.
Can someone tell me if it is going to supported in a future version, and when that future version is coming?
Thanks!

Unknown. Only Cisco will know. You need to ask the question from your authorized Cisco reseller.

Hi,
Check out the below link for realse note of CNA realease 5.0
Specifically, under "New Features" (for Release 5.5, November 2009) you should see the line "Catalyst 2960 switches (WS-C2960-48PST-S, WS-C2960-24PC-S, WS-C2960-24LC-S, and WS-C2960-48PST-L)". Absence of any reference to the 2960S models implies that they are not supported on the current CNA release.
Hope to help !!

It appears at this time CNA is not supported on 2960S. You can see this hear in the release notes:

Hi,
I have the same issues with c2960S switches. I have loaded them with the latest IOS, but still no luck.
Also, I have raised a ticket with Cisco Technical support, and learned that CNA version 5.5 isnt supporting c2960S.
We have to wait untill 5.6 which was due now, but is postponed to next year.
Greetings!

I just spoke to our local Cisco TAM, he advised version 5.6 of CNA is apparently still on track for Q4 2010, let's hope this is the case.

Dan
