I wouldn't risk it without a maintenance window.
Could you configure 4 unused ports (2 per switch), then have someone on site patch them in, then once the Po comes up, shutdown the previously used link?

Hi
i suggest tht u make the portchannel interface first with the required config thn assign the physical interfaces to it
there will be interruption due to for sure

Hi Mahmoodmkl,
I have Core Switch that has 2 ports going to stack Switch.
Stack switch we know is single switch.
My main concern is that if i do remotely on Core switch and make portchannel interface first and assign interfaces to it
will then i lose connection to stack switch?
I am ok with outage as i have change window now
thanks
Mahesh

Hi,
Only way to reach Stack switch is by core switch.
When you say at which end u r i did not get that?
So if i make 2 ports on stack as etherchannel then i can go to core and it should be ok right?
Thanks
Mahesh
