Config in stack mode

Hi all,

I have to add a new catalyst 3650 to an older one already configured so they will be in stack mode.
My question is : 

Need I configure the second switch with the same configuration of the first switch (interface switchport, routing intevlan, creation of VLAN) or just configure the stacking between the 2 switches and the configuration will be copied to the newer switch added ?

Hi

 you want to make sure the switch in production is set as master pri 15 or the new switch could take over and reboot the stack as it forming , once its set as the master it shouldn't get wiped , make sure ios-xe versions are same on both switches to get full feature set when stacked
