Config VSS between 2 switch 6500

Dear experts,

When config VSS between 2 switch 6500, Do i need 2 link physical port 10G between 2 switch or only 1 link and what is role of link like management,control, or keep alive, or send data

Please help me!!

The heartbeat link can be a 1 Gbps link. 

The cross-link, ideally, should be multiple 10 Gbps links.

check below guides. you need min 2 links for VSL and 1 for DAD
