Need to connect my cisco load balancer  interfaceGi1/1 --        interface Ethernet138/1/2 on nexus 2KA

                                                                  InterfaceGi1/2---interface Ethernet138/1/2 on nexus 2KB

need to configure vPC for the making load Balancer highly redundant

Here is the config i had on my 5Ks,able  to create a peer link and flex fabric ,but running into issues with vPC

ACE : this what I configured

interface port-channel110
  switchport mode trunk
  vpc 110
  switchport trunk allowed vlan 817

interface gigabitEthernet 1/1
  description conn to nex2kA
  switchport trunk allowed vlan 817

switchport trunk allowed vlan 817

channel-group 110 mode active
  no shutdown

5KA:

interface port-channel110

  switchport mode trunk

  vpc 110

  switchport trunk allowed vlan 200

5KB:

interface port-channel110

  switchport mode trunk

  vpc 110

  switchport trunk allowed vlan 817

ACE :

interface port-channel110

  switchport mode trunk

  vpc 110

  switchport trunk allowed vlan 817

5KA config does not look right. The port cahnnel will not come up. Please change that and confirm.

vPC is working on the nexus ,But a question as ,Do I need to unable vPC on ACE

ACE :

interface port-channel110

  switchport mode trunk

  vpc 110

  switchport trunk allowed vlan 817

As still now I was only configuring ,Please advise ,why do I need to unabe vPC on my ACE

ACE :

interface port-channel110

  switchport mode trunk

  switchport trunk allowed vlan 817

Basically vPC is like joining multiple interfaces into 1 port channel which spans multiple chassis. This creates a virtual port cahnnel. On the ACE as both links are on the same chassis vPC is not required. That can be a standard port channel.

I overlooked that config on the ace and should be removed as well.

Somehow my vpc-peer link is not coming up,this is the config I have for peer-link

vPC peer keepalives are not passing through.

I dont see the default route configured for vrf management :

vrf context management

ip route 0.0.0.0/0 161.247.134.254 (assuming that is your default gateway)

try that and then ping the 161.247.134.31

ping 161.247.134.31 vrf management

and see if you get pings through. if you do, your vpc peer link will be up (show vpc and show vpc role)

Another question ,do I need to add

switchport mode trunk allowed vlan 1,101-105,201-202,300,400-403,501-502

vpc peer-link

on the po139 ,do I need to or ,these 2 commands are optional

You should have the "vpc peer-link" command on the link between nexus5kA and nexus5kB. This should not be there on the links between the n5k's and the ACE.

For the allowed vlan;s , that is up to you and what vlan;s you want to pass through the peer-link.
