I'm going to upgrade the IOS on a 6509. I have the new image loaded and just want a confirmation that the boot statement I have on it is correct.
Here's what I have in the config:
boot-start-marker
boot system flash bootdisk:
boot system flash bootdisk:/s2t54-adventerprisek9-mz.SPA.150-1.SY4.bin
boot-end-marker
Here's the images on flash:

Hi,
Yes you have the corect configuration set for bootvariable.
boot-start-marker
boot system flash bootdisk:s2t54-adventerprisek9-mz.SPA.150-1.SY4.bin
boot-end-marker

Hi,
There is no need to specify '/" parameter under bootdisk statement.
Below thread had many issues booting just go through once it might help give you some more info in case the module doesnt come up properly.

Thanks for the quick response. My concern was really if the "/" I put in after the bootdisk:is correct.
