I'm going to upgrade the IOS on a 6509. I have the new image loaded and just want a confirmation that the boot statement I have on it is correct.

Here's what I have in the config:

boot-start-marker

boot system flash bootdisk:

boot system flash bootdisk:/s2t54-adventerprisek9-mz.SPA.150-1.SY4.bin

boot-end-marker

Here's the images on flash:

#dir

Directory of bootdisk:/

Hi,

There is no need to specify '/" parameter under bootdisk statement.

Below thread had many issues booting just go through once it might help give you some more info in case the module doesnt come up properly.

Thanks for the quick response. My concern was really if the "/" I put in after the bootdisk:is correct.
