We are about to replace several CatOS based switches with IOS based ones. It looks like there used to be a Cisco utility to help with this, but it's disappeared. I've also seen a perl script, but I can seem to figure out why it's not working. Is there anything currently available to help with this? I don't necessarily need a perfect conversion, but a good head start would be appreciated.

Hi,
You need the Cisco E-DI. Please check this thread for details and download links:

Yes, I've run across references to this, none as recent as the thread you posted, but the link seems to be broken ("file not found"). Does anyone know where I can get E-DI?

That's weird, the file was there a month ago. Try to send email to cs-edi@cisco.com, as suggested in the official bulleten:

No response at all from cs-edi@cisco.com... did no one ever use this app?

Hi,
Try to reach Anthony Walters . He downloaded the tool not long ago, during discussion in thread https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2151356
If you are lucky, he may still have the file.
Kind Regards,
Ivan
