I need help with TFTP command syntax. What is wrong here?
image resides on solarwinds TFTP within C:\TFTP-Root. Devices are reachable too and TFTP service is active.
SWITCH#copy tftp: flash:
Address or name of remote host [x.x.x.x]?
Source filename [C:\TFTP-Root/AIR-CT5500-K9-8-5-151-0.aes]?
Destination filename [AIR-CT5500-K9-8-5-151-0.aes]?
Accessing tftp://x.x.x.x/C:\TFTP-Root/AIR-CT5500-K9-8-5-151-0.aes...
%Error opening tftp://x.x.x.x/C:\TFTP-Root/AIR-CT5500-K9-8-5-151-0.aes (Timed out)

Hi @davinci ,
Have you tried this?:
SWITCH#copy tftp: flash:
Address or name of remote host [x.x.x.x]?
Source filename [C:\TFTP-Root/AIR-CT5500-K9-8-5-151-0.aes]? AIR-CT5500-K9-8-5-151-0.aes
Destination filename [AIR-CT5500-K9-8-5-151-0.aes]?

Hmmm, I am a bit wary , with the switch platform handling these C:\ (backslash) denotions ; could you just make the root of the tftp server to the file location directory on Windows (so you only need to input the filename on the switch) ?

yes, I have file in the C:\TFTP-Root directory. I have tried both ways with the switch copy tftp syntax, only specifying filename and also adding tftp directory

couple of steps to test before you copy.
1. from Switch you able to ping the TFTP Server IP address - yes - step 2 ( if not fix the changeability)
2. Step2 as @marce1000 suggested, the souse should be file name, the file should be in TFTP root folder. to copy
