I have to copy an IOS image (bin file) from a Cisco 6880 VSS to my FTP server. As these are live systems and I need to ensure there are no errors and this should be a basic command (I have not used for ages). Ca\n someone please confirm that the following is the correct command to copy the IOS from the Cisco switch bootdisk to an ftp server:
copy bootdisk: c6880x-adventerprisek9-mz.SPA.151-2.SY5.bin ftp:<username>:<password>@<ipaddress>/<directory>
Much appreciated.

Hi
Assuming you already checked the ios file nome with dir commamd, I think you are good to go.

Download this file direct from the Cisco website.

All good. I now have the bin file.
As an add on, anyone got any ideas about utilising this in eve-ng?

Ignore the last message.
I have since found out it is not possible on eve-ng or GNS3. Thanks for the help all.
