Dear Team,
I have a WS-C6509-E with WS-X6K-SUP1A-2GE running CatOS Vers. 8.5(3) crashed for the second time.
Both crashinfo?s stored in the bootflash shows only hieroglyphics if I opened it by "show file bootflash:crashinfo". The same happens when I download the crashinfo and try to open it with a text editor.
Can you give me any support?
Thanks
Bjoern

crashinfo file is what you provide Cisco TAC for them to decode.

Hi Bjoern,
Here is the information that will help you extract the crash info file:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/63/gsrlccrash.shtml#gen_sub_3
Try "more bootflash:crashinfo".....
The file then needs to be decoded, you need to contact one of the Architecture teams in CiscoTAC for the same.
