"In the distribution layer, uplinks from all access layer devices are aggregated, or come together" , can someone clarify to me what does come together means? what i understand by aggregating is all access switches traffic will be forwarded to the distribution but i don't understand what the meaning of "or come together"

Hi
Could you post the doc your reading this from so we can see the context , i would think it may mean that all the traffic is aggregated or comes together on same backplane in the DIST layer , when all traffic reaches the DIST it would be bundled into same distribution backplane maybe coming together , its not a general term used from what i have read

i wouldn't take every word specifically some of the way these docs have been written over the years how they have been worded can make them difficult to read i find anyway
