C9200/9300 can not assigns inbound packets to different VLANs based on their protocol type and encapsulation format. CBS 250 series do that.
As concerned C9x00, see an alternative to "protocol-based VLAN". They provide advanced capabilities like VRF, 802.1X dynamic VLAN assignment, ACL-based filtering, and policy-driven segmentation via DNA Center, which are more aligned with today's networking standards.
