Hello,

Can anyone verify is the Cisco 300 series switches i.e. SG300-52 support Netflow?

If yes, can it be configured from the web interface or CLI?

Thanks,

KNM

Hi KNM,

Generally small business switches do not support netflow or sflow, the document is not so clear for support but since its a small business switch so it should not be supported.

refer the below doc to know about the netflow supported device.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NetFlow

alos have a look to for alternate configuration for netflow, if applicable.

Hello KNM,

Cisco switch SG300-28 do not support NetFlow or any other similar flow format . I can't have exact evidence to confirm but it never supported. If require confirmation either you can check with cisco TAC or venprem has also confirmed the same.

Hope it Helps..

Venperum, great information - thank you!

It looks like the SGx50 and SFx50 models now support sFlow, see Release Notes for SF250, SG250, SF350, SG350, SG350XG, and SG550XG Series Switches Software Version 2.1.0

SLFOW v5—An embedded sampling technology (based on RFC 3176) that
provides the ability to continuously monitor traffic flows and counters on
some or all interfaces simultaneously. The sFlow monitoring system
consists of the sFlow Agent (embedded in the device) and a central data
collector, or sFlow Analyzer.
