Does the C9300-NM-8X work in a C9300-24T-E switch?
I want to install a 8 x 10GB SFP+ module into a 24-port C9300 switch, is it compatible? I can't find any compatibility chart for the C9300-NM-8X in the C9300 switches.
I do know that the C3850-4-10G module does not work in the C3850-24T switches. And the 9300 is the next version of the 3850.
So, are all 9300 modules supported in all 9300 switches?

Yes, it should work fine. See table-20 for supported uplink modules

Yes, look under table 20 Power Consumption of Standalone 9300 series switches and NM-8-10G is listed there. Not where I would expect to find it. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-9300-series-switches/nb-06-cat9300-ser-data-sheet-cte-en.html

That document also mentions the C3850-NM-8-10G and the C3850-NM-4-10G, but it doesn't say those modules are not supported in all 3850 switches. So the question still stands.

I can confirm the 8-port 10GBE module works with all 8 ports running at 10GB. Now working in place of an old 3850 stack.
