Hi Freinds
Does vPC Support only L2 OR in the newest NX-OS release, they added the Capabalite of routing over vPC
AFAK , vPC differs from the Normal PC , is that PC support L2/L3 while vPC supports only L2 of course besides vPC Span multiple Upstream Switch
Thanks

vPC - Virtual port-channel is cisco proprietry and it works with only nexus devices to avoide loops between the devices.
not that i aware they added Layer 3 capabilites. that is the reason you have Layer3 routing different connectivity between pair of nexus.
I have provided below vPC best practice - i am sure you spend some time and understand the logic behind vPC

hello balaji my over seas freind
I Read that some blogs sites
they have added routing capability using the command layer 3 peer-router

vPC peer-Link support only L2
i.e. you can only config it as trunk
BUT you can config SVI for any VLAN allow in trunk and hence you get L3 connection between two NSK

Hello MHM
What about the command Layer 3 peer-router under the vpc domain
thanks

it only make vPC run routing protocol over the SVI of VLAN allow in vPC peer-link and make NSK not reduce the TTL when traffic pass through the vPC peer-link.

Sure don't confuse yourself Layer2/3 Port-channel vs vPC.
