I have a 1760 router with 96MB DRAM. Is there a way I can find out, without opening the router up, (1) how many slots there are for installing DRAM; and (2) which of the slots are occupied with DRAM and which are free?

Hi
You can have max of 128MB in both 1760 and 1760V models by default 1760V comes with 96MB.
I dont think its possible to view the DRAM slots or free slots available for use..
for more info do refer this link...

Hi, thanks for your reply. I have already looked at that page. I was just wondering if I could upgrade the RAM without having to discard any SIMM/DIMM which is already present.
I guess I'm just going to have to get the screwdrivers out ;-)
