Hi ,

Is it Failover or FHRP (HSRP) active standby ?

Hi

Now is HSRP .

Among HSRP,VRRP and GLBP only GLBP can be used as Active-Active so you can use both ISPs then configure GLBP instead of HSRP. So you can load-balance your inside traffic to go outside via two different ISPs .

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_2t/12_2t15/feature/guide/ft_glbp.html

Hope it helps

Hi

Asa also should be active /active ?

Thanks

You will configure GLBP as normal HSRP (I mean same idea , you give Virtual IP) and there is little bit difference in configuration , the difference between GLBP and other FHRP protocols is that the ASAs will be Active/Active. For inside devices the gateway will be Virtual IP that you gave ,like in HSRP but GLBP will load-balance your traffic .

You can see GLBP explained in youtube or cisco documentations.

Regards

Let me know if it helps
