Hi,

we are facing PRI line down issue,

Gateway model: "Cisco ISR4431 Chassis

IOS version: "bootflash:isr4400-universalk9.16.09.04.SPA.bin"

issue is that the link gets down intermittently and comes up after Jack out Jack In.

Action taken so far:

Configured clocking,

Changed the connectors, cables.

Rebooted the Gateway

Reconfigured the E1 links on other card on Gateway.

Service provider installed new MUX, also changed all the cables.

Reconfigured the CRC, Line code, and PRI configuration

But still link is facing same issue.

could you please suggest any work around or solution.

Hello @MayurB ,

post the output of

show controller e1 x/y/z

and the configuraton you have under the controller e1.

if used for Voice services you should see how you have configured serial x/y/z:16 that is the control channel of the E1

generally clocking is provided by the network and you should use clock line.

Again if you have multiple E1 on your router used for Voice service there is a specific command to specify which line / controller provides the reference clock to be used on all of them internally on the router itself.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
