I have two main sites let say A and B.
A has network 10.1.0.0/16 and B has 10.2.0.0/16. Between these sites I have made an EIGRP.
For site B I have a vlan 230 with an interface vlan 230 with ip 10.2.3.1 and ip helper address is 10.1.0.3 which is my DHCP server on site A. Everything works well and all my LAN clients get an ip address on site B.
In site A I have a WLC 5520 connected which distribute SSID B with vlan 230.
Do I need to create a vlan 230 in site A and allow it over all my trunks to the WLC before I get this to work?

Hi,
No need for configuring VLAN 230 in your HO site. It is not a good design. Cisco is offering another solution as FlexConnect for WLC solution.

Not sure what this has to do with EIGRP.
How are your sites connected to each other and why do you need the same vlan at both sites ?

Hi there,
You need to trunk VLAN230 to the WLC where it will be bridged and offered via SSID.
Depending on the topology it may not be a good idea to trunk VLAN230 between the sites and for this reason you may want to look a purchasing another WLC for SiteB and configuring it as a Mobility Anchor.
The SiteA WLC will broadcast the SSID B, but any clients traffic associated to it will be tunneled back to the SiteB Mobility Anchor to be bridged and routed locally.
cheers.
Seb.
